Where Did the Name Come From?
Every business name has a story behind it.
For us, Map Direct Properties was built around the main feature and idea that we wanted to bring to the property market: a more direct, map-based way of finding property.
Why “Map”?
The word Map represents one of the key features of our platform.
We wanted location to be an important part of the property search experience rather than simply another detail hidden inside a listing.
With Map Direct Properties, users can explore properties through our map-based search and understand where properties are situated.
Why “Direct”?
The word Direct represents the way we want property seekers and listers to connect.
Our platform is designed to help property seekers find listings and enquire directly with the person or business responsible for the property.
It also connects directly to our map feature, where users can be taken directly to the property's location or, where the lister prefers, to an approximate diameter area.
Why a Diameter Area?
We understand that not every property lister wants their exact location displayed publicly.
That is why our platform can allow a property to be shown within a location diameter rather than necessarily displaying the exact address.
This gives property seekers useful information about the general area while giving listers more control over how their property's location is presented.
Why “Properties”?
The final part of the name is simple: Properties.
Our platform is focused on properties available for sale and rent, bringing different types of property and different types of property listers together in one marketplace.
